U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff (D-GA) announced $54,277,878 in federal funding to improve Georgia's road and street infrastructure. The money was provided by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) (https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A) program and will help strengthen road safety for bicyclists, pedestrians, and drivers - including significant projects to help improve road and safety infrastructure in some of the most rural parts of the state.
