Today, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) was joined by 11 of his Senate colleagues in urging the Trump Administration's Office of Personnel Management (OPM) against implementing a rule that would severely weaken longstanding civil service protections for federal probationary employees.
