ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,262,410, issued on March 25, was assigned to ZTE Corp. (Shenzhen, China).

"Listen-before-talk mode indication for wireless communication" was invented by Li Zhang (Shenzhen, China), He Huang (Shenzhen, China) and Eswar Kalyan Vutukuri (Shenzhen, China).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates to wireless communication methods that utilize and enable the communication of an indication of a listen-before-talk (LBT) mode from a wireless access node to a mobile station."
