ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,432,311, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Zoom Communications Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Stitching helper for a unified video stream" was invented by Shane Paul Springer (Oregon City, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A first image of a first video stream and a second image of a second video stream are displayed at a device. The first video stream and the second video stream are video streams of a video conference. A stitching image is identified in preview images received from a camera of the device. The stitching image is transmitted to a conferencing software associated with the video conference."
