ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,284,228, issued on April 22, was assigned to Zoom Communications Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Virtually sharing content as annotations onto a physical surface over multiple sessions" was invented by Thomas William Noble (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) and Shane Paul Springer (Oregon City, Ore.).
