ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,290,559, issued on May 6, was assigned to Zoetis Services LLC (Parsippany, N.J.).
"Methods of vaccine administration" was invented by Cassius McAllister Tucker (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and John David Haworth (Englewood, Colo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This invention relates to a method of treating a dog for canine diseases comprising administering to the dog therapeutically effective amounts of a vaccine, wherein the vaccine comprises viral antigens, a bacterin, or both, and wherein the vaccine is administered subcutaneously or orally according to the schedules provided herein."
