ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,313,201, issued on May 27, was assigned to Zipwall LLC (Arlington, Mass.).
"Flexible air duct systems and methods of installation and use thereof" was invented by Jeffrey P. Whittemore (Arlington, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A housing is constructed and arranged to be mounted to a curtain. The housing can include an aperture. Upon installation of the housing to the curtain, a portion of the curtain is removed in the region of the aperture. A flexible air duct can be presented through the aperture."
The patent was filed on Jan. 13, 2020, under Application No. 17/416,646.
