ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,349,504, issued on July 1, was assigned to ZHEJIANG JINKO SOLAR Co. LTD. (Haining, China) and JINKO SOLAR Co. LTD. (Jiangxi, China).

"Solar cell and photovoltaic module" was invented by Jingsheng Jin (Zhejiang, China) and Linan Zhang (Zhejiang, China).

The solar cell includes substrate, tunnel oxide layer, doped conductive layer, intrinsic polycrystalline silicon layer, enhanced conductive portion, and first electrodes.
