ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,713, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Zephyros Inc. (Romeo, Mich.).
"Non-continuous mesh structures" was invented by Jeffrey Apfel (Shelby Township, Mich.) and Ron Bogert (Brown City, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An article comprising a flexible mesh layer pliable enough for being arranged in direct planar contact with a contoured surface, the mesh layer providing one or more attributes of adhering, sealing or reinforcing to a surface receiving the flexible mesh."
The patent was filed on June 4, 2021, under Application No. 17/339,392.
