ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,435,001, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Yissum Research Development Co. of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Ltd. (Jerusalem, Ill.).

"Compressed salt objects" was invented by Daniel Mandler (Jerusalem), Noa Lapidot (Mevasseret Zion, Israel), Andrea Buffa (Jerusalem), Gabriel Dikovsky (Ari'el, Israel) and Lihi Rikanati (Modi'in, Israel).
