ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,701, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to YAMAHA HATSUDOKI K.K. (Iwata, Japan).

"Robot" was invented by Toshifumi Manome (Iwata, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A robot includes a motor, a speed reducer, a base, a first arm, a second arm, and an impeller operable to rotate together with the first arm or the speed reducer. The impeller is operable to rotate together with the first arm or the speed reducer and generate wind to cool the motor."

The patent was filed on Oct. 14, 2021, under Application No. 18/698,198.
