"Integrated microfluidic system for generation of droplets" was invented by Bradley Scott Thomas (Cary, N.C.), Timothy A. Miller (Durham, N.C.), Daniel Nelson (Durham, N.C.), Raheel Samuel (Durham, N.C.), George Robinson (Durham, N.C.) and Tyler Welder (Durham, N.C.).
