ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,765, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Xerox Corp. (Norwalk, Conn.).
"Methods of printing document markings with enhanced moire effects, and documents that exhibit such effects" was invented by Edward N. Chapman (Rochester, N.Y.) and Jonathan Ireland (Lancaster, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A substrate includes a mark that exhibits an enhanced moire effect.
