ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,815, issued on July 22, was assigned to Xerox Corp. (Norwalk, Conn.).

"Focusing optics for use with semiconductor lasers for imaging applications" was invented by Joerg Martini (San Francisco), Zhihong Yang (San Jose, Calif.), Patrick Y. Maeda (Mountain View, Calif.) and Yu Wang (Palo Alto, Calif.).
