ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,219,110, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Xerox Corp. (Norwalk, Conn.).

"Security printing using mixed spot sizes in stochastic or frequency modulated halftone images" was invented by Chu-heng Liu (Penfield, N.Y.), Jorge A. Alvarez (Webster, N.Y.), Douglas L. Herrmann (Webster, N.Y.), Jason Matthew LeFevre (Penfield, N.Y.) and Seemit Praharaj (Webster, N.Y.).
