ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,539, issued on March 4, was assigned to WRIGHT MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY INC. (Memphis, Tenn.).

"Joint replacement prosthesis with trans-cortical stems" was invented by David G. Reynolds (Fairport, N.Y.).
