US Patent Issued to Woodward on June 17 for "Multiphase fuel injector" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,933, issued on June 17, was assigned to Woodward Inc. (Fort Collins, Colo.).

"Multiphase fuel injector" was invented by Bidhan Dam (Zeeland, Mich.), Mowgli Crosby (Zeeland, Mich.) and Sudipa Sarker (Zeeland, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multiphase fuel injector has an injector body with a fuel inlet at a first end and a fuel outlet at a second end opposite the first end.
