ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,503,376, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Woodard & Curran Inc. (Portland, Maine).

"Nanoparticle-entrained multifunctional nanostructure-coated mobile carriers, and systems and methods of utilizing same to treat contaminated water" was invented by Joshua P. Boltz (Foley, Ala.), Gregory K. Parks (Davenport, Fla.) and Raj Vaidya (Tampa, Fla.).
