US Patent Issued to WM Intellectual Property Holdings on July 8 for "Process and system for producing engineered fuel" (Texas, Georgia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,351,771, issued on July 8, was assigned to WM Intellectual Property Holdings LLC (Houston).

"Process and system for producing engineered fuel" was invented by Richard A. Toberman (Galveston, Texas) and Thomas F. Perry (Newnan, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A process and system for producing an engineered fuel product that meets customer specifications for composition and combustion characteristics is provided. The engineered fuel product is preferably a high-BTU, alternative fuel that burns cleaner than coal or petroleum coke (petcoke) and has significantly reduced NOx, SO2 and GHG emissions."
