ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,420,104, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Madison, Wis.).

"Stretchable encapsulation material with high dynamic water resistivity and tissue-matching elasticity" was invented by Xudong Wang (Middleton, Wis.) and Yan Shao (Madison, Wis.).
