ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,298, issued on May 27, was assigned to Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Madison, Wis.).

"Method for making aldehydes, alcohols, amides, and carboxylic acids from plastic pyrolysis oil" was invented by George Huber (Middleton, Wis.), Houqian Li (Middleton, Wis.), Jiayang Wu (Madison, Wis.) and Clark Landis (Madison, Wis.).
