ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,400,350, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to Wing Aviation LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Detection of close encounters with obstacles by aerial vehicles" was invented by Ali Shoeb (San Rafael, Calif.) and Domitille Commun (Mountain View, Calif.).
