US Patent Issued to WinField Solutions on Sept. 9 for "Plant growth regulators" (Iowa, Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,669, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to WinField Solutions LLC (Arden Hills, Minn.).

"Plant growth regulators" was invented by Marcus Jones (Ankeny, Iowa) and Cliff Watrin (Wyoming, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Plant growth compositions include a mixture of inert compounds and an active component combination of auxin, gibberellin and cytokinin. The plant growth compositions are auxin-dominant, and the ratio of cytokinin to auxin in the active component combination ranges from about 1:10.5 to about 1:4.5.
