ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,308,066, issued on May 20, was assigned to Winbond Electronics Corp. (Taichung, Taiwan).
"Pseudo-static random access memory" was invented by Hitoshi Ikeda (Yokohama, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pseudo-static random access memory includes a control unit, which controls the refresh operations of the memory to be performed as many times as the number of refresh requests that are generated during a period after the first transaction ended and before a second transaction which is after the first transaction."
The patent was filed on March 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/179,205.
