ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,966, issued on May 20, was assigned to Wilson Sporting Goods Co. (Chicago).
"Sports glove" was invented by Andrew K. Tryner (Chicago) and Daniel W. Kolcun (Bayonne, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sports glove for being worn by a hand may include a backhand panel and a palm panel joined to the backhand panel to form a palm cavity therebetween. The palm cavity extends from a base portion to a knuckle portion.
