ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,269,220, issued on April 8, was assigned to WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY (Wichita, Kan.).
"Joint autonomous repair verification and inspection system" was invented by John S. Tomblin (Wichita, Kan.), Waruna Seneviratne (Wichita, Kan.), Caleb Saathoff (Wichita, Kan.), John Matthew Tomblin (Wichita, Kan.) and Christopher Pini (Wichita, Kan.).
