ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,744, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to WiBotic Inc. (Seattle).

"Wireless charging with multiple charging locations" was invented by Benjamin Waters (Kirkland, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A charging status or a location of a wireless charger is provided. A vehicle may charge at a particular wireless charger based at least in part on the charging status of the wireless charger and/or the location of the wireless charger."

The patent was filed on May 24, 2024, under Application No. 18/674,420.
