ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,313,332, issued on May 27, was assigned to Whirlpool Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).

"Appliance trim breaker" was invented by Arunkumar Harikrishnasamy (Stevensville, Mich.), Sai B. Krishna (Pune, India), Abhay Naik (Stevensville, Mich.) and Sanket V. Phalak (Pune, India).
