US Patent Issued to Whirlpool on March 25 for "Dishwasher with tray" (Italian, American, Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,879, issued on March 25, was assigned to Whirlpool Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).

"Dishwasher with tray" was invented by Fabio Cardano (Galliate, Italy), Umit Can Koralay (Milan), Giuseppina Arresta (Ternate, Italy), Mark Steven Feddema (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Hrushikesh Chandrakant Prabhu (Pune, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reversible tray for a dishwasher a reversible tray carried by the dish rack and removably disposed within the dish rack to flip between a first position and a second position."

The patent was filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/511,316.
