ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,346, issued on June 17, was assigned to Whirlpool Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).
"Dishwasher with rack" was invented by Mark Steven Feddema (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Joseph T. Ferencevich (Saint Joseph, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher having a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a dish rack having a first wash zone and a second wash zone, and a spray tube having at least one set of nozzles and rotatable between a first position and a second position."
The patent was filed on Nov. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/499,271.
