ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. D1,083,491, issued on July 15, was assigned to WHIRLPOOL Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).
"Immersion blender" was invented by John W. McConnell (St. Joseph, Mich.), Brandon Tyler Mock (St. Joseph, Mich.), John Jay Myers (Saugatuck, Mich.), Nicholas Hill Schutte (St. Joseph, Mich.) and Rex D. Wilson (Stevensville, Mich.).
