ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,137, issued on April 29, was assigned to Whirlpool Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).
"Method and apparatus for assembling accessories in a caddy" was invented by John W. Mcconnell (St. Joseph, Mich.), Brandon T. Mock (St. Joseph, Mich.) and John J. Myers (Saugatuck, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and apparatus for assembling a set of stand mixer accessories with a caddy, including receiving a beater attachment in a first depression of a caddy base, receiving a whisk attachment in a second depression of the caddy base, and receiving a dough hook attachment in a in an arm of the caddy base."
