ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,269,196, issued on April 8, was assigned to Westinghouse Electric Co. LLC (Cranberry Township, Pa.).

"Internal hydroforming method for manufacturing heat pipe wicks" was invented by John Lojek III (Latrobe, Pa.), Matthew M. Swartz (Claridge, Pa.) and William A. Byers (Murrysville, Pa.).
