US Patent Issued to Western Digital Technologies on Feb. 10 for "Sector sliding in shingled magnetic recording hard disk drive" (Minnesota, California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,548,596, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Western Digital Technologies Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
