ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,417,235, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Wells Fargo Bank N.A. (San Francisco).

"Universal adapter for vendor data" was invented by Nalini Krishna Teja Chalasani (Edison, N.J.), Maximilian Fuchs (Charlotte, N.C.), Dinesh Jagadeesan (Edison, N.J.), Kaustubh Kondhawekar (Edison, N.J.), Vito A. Marchiano (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Ryan Charles Strid (New York).
