ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,537, issued on June 17, was assigned to WCHAMBE INVESTMENTS LLC (Baton Rouge, La.).
"High-intensity, telescoping light tower with safety features" was invented by Walter Chambers (Baton Rouge, La.), Todd Chambers (Baton Rouge, La.) and Layne P Yander (Gonzales, La.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A mobile lighting device is disclosed with extendable boom sections. The boom sections are stored in a horizontal position and then pivot to a vertical position before being extended upward. A light section is positioned at the uppermost end of the last extendable boom section. A variety of safety features are also disclosed."
