ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,249,865, issued on March 11, was assigned to Wangs Alliance Corp. (Port Washington, N.Y.).

"Modular emergency battery" was invented by Dimauro Andrade Edwards (Jamaica, N.Y.) and Qianxiang Wang (Great Neck, N.Y.).
