"Hibiscus plant named 'WALHIDELI'" was invented by Eva Erhart (Walberton, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus plant named 'WALHIDELI' is disclosed, characterized by large, purple-red to purple-pink flowers with a deep red "eye". Plants are winter-hardy and have broadly upright habits. The new variety is a Hibiscus, typically produced as an ornamental plant."
