ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,065, issued on May 13, was assigned to Walker Digital Table Systems LLC (Las Vegas).

"Systems and methods of reading playing cards and other stacked items" was invented by Dominic M. Kotab (San Jose, Calif.).
