ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,497,511, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Wacker Chemie AG (Munich).
"Crosslinkable organopolysiloxane compositions" was invented by Detlev Ostendorf (Dresden, Germany) and Michael Stepp (Ueberackern, Austria).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Hydrosilylative crosslinking compositions containing an aliphatically unsaturated compound which is the reaction product of an alkali metal siliconate and a chlorosilane and a coupler having two silicon bond hydrogen atoms have high compression and damping characteristics when cured."
The patent was filed on Aug. 17, 2018, under Application No. 17/267,142.
