ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,539,802, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Wabash National LP (Lafayette, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides an embedded mounting assembly for mounting a large component (e.g., a refrigeration unit) to a cargo vehicle. The mounting assembly includes a mounting insert embedded within a wall of the cargo vehicle to support the loading of the large component while providing for cost-effective manufacturing and installation without reduction of structural integrity and safety."
