ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,461, issued on April 15, was assigned to VISERA TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY Ltd. (Hsin-Chu, Taiwan).

"Image sensor" was invented by Wei-Lung Tsai (Hsin-Chu, Taiwan) and Ching-Chiang Wu (Hsin-Chu, Taiwan).
