ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,301,687, issued on May 13, was assigned to Visa International Service Association (San Francisco).

"Real-time entity anomaly detection" was invented by Ajit Gaddam (Foster City, Calif.), Ara Jermakyan (Northridge, Calif.) and Pushkar Joglekar (Emeryville, Calif.).
