ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,262, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Virginia Tech Intellectual Properties Inc. (Blacksburg, Va.).
"Treatment planning system for immunotherapy enhancement via non-thermal ablation" was invented by Rafael V. Davalos (Aptos, Calif.) and Natalie White (Christiansburg, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are methods and systems of performing immunotherapy on a subject and/or determining if a subject will be responsive to ablation immunotherapy."
The patent was filed on Jan. 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/402,231.
