ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,502,438, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Vigeneron GmbH (Planegg, Germany).

"Optimized acceptor splice site module for biological and biotechnological applications" was invented by Stylianos Michalakis (Munich), Martin Biel (Starnberg, Germany) and Elvir Becirovic (Munich).
