US Patent Issued to Vicore Pharma on Oct. 7 for "Compounds" (Swedish Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,435,072, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Vicore Pharma AB (Stockholm).

"Compounds" was invented by Tomas Fex (Molndal, Sweden) and Bengt Ohlsson (Molndal, Sweden).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided herein a compound of formula I, wherein R1, R2, R3 Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, R4, R5 and R6 are as defined herein, which compounds are useful in the treatment of autoimmune and/or fibrotic diseases, including interstitial lung diseases, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis."

The patent was filed on Sept. 18, 2020, under Application No. 17/761,670.
