US Patent Issued to VIAVI SOLUTIONS on Feb. 11 for "Icon-based home certification, in-home leakage testing, and antenna matching pad" (Indiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,225,183, issued on Feb. 11, was assigned to VIAVI SOLUTIONS INC. (Chandler, Ariz.).

"Icon-based home certification, in-home leakage testing, and antenna matching pad" was invented by Terry W. Bush (Greenwood, Ind.), John J. Bush (Bargersville, Ind.) and Dexin Sun (Indianapolis).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for determining the magnitude of leakage in a subscriber's premises CATV installation; a frequency multiplexer for coupling between an antenna and a receiver for the multiplexed frequencies; and, a method for a technician to certify a CATV subscriber's premises for the provision of CATV services are disclosed."
