ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,267, issued on April 15, was assigned to VIAVI SOLUTIONS INC. (Chandler, Ariz.).

"Security pigment and optical security element" was invented by Paul Thomas Kohlmann (Windsor, Calif.), Vladimir P. Raksha (Santa Rosa, Calif.) and Cornelis Jan Delst (Fairfax, Calif.).
