ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,500,661, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Viasat Inc. (Carlsbad, Calif.).

"Co-located satellites with ground based processing" was invented by Richard VanderMeulen (Dove Canyon, Calif.), Craig A Miller (Carlsbad, Calif.), David J. Hancharik (Norcross, Ga.) and Parker A Robinson (Ocala, Fla.).
