ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,889, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to VESTAS WIND SYSTEMS A/S (Aarhus N, Denmark).

"Wind park power oscillation control" was invented by Lennart Petersen (Skodstrup, Denmark), German Claudio Tarnowski (Aarhus N, Denmark), Poul Brandt Christensen (Ry, Denmark) and Mark Faber (Risskov, Denmark).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method is provided for controlling power oscillations at a point of common coupling in a wind park. Individual power reference offsets defining an adjustment to a wind turbine power reference signal for counteracting mechanical oscillations in the respective wind turbines are received from respective wind turbin...
